FAQ - Ink

Q. How do Nano inks compare to that of HP's?
A. We use premium UV grade raw dye materials from the U.S. These inks are specially formulated by our Ph.D. chemists and manufactured according to the OEM-matched requirements and specifications. THESE ARE NOT GENERIC INKS.  The print quality of our CISS is just as good as using OEM cartridges.  Our ink is nanometer scale filtered to < 0.2 um to ensure stable and fluent printing and to prevent print nozzle blockages.  The printed pictures offer a wide color gamut and vivid output. The fade resistance is as good as OEM grade. For legal reasons we must point out that HP spent considerable time and money on the R&D of their inkjet products. It is acknowledged that they manufacture very high grade inks and we do not purport to have the same inks manufactured by them. However, we can proudly say that our ink quality matches theirs¡¯. Please do note that these are compatible inks and are not manufactured nor endorsed by HP and that the use of such aftermarket cartridges may void your printer¡¯s warranty.

Q. How do I get refill bulk ink?

A. We are currently offering Premium Grade UV inks at $60 per 6 x 100mls refill kit from our distributors.  Our HP compatible replacement ink can also be purchased from selected computer stores.  Our unit is pre-filled with premium grade inks, so be sure to purchase your refill inks from a reliable source as the quality and color gamut of your ink is very important.  Poor Ink quality leads to damaged print heads.  Cheap inks tend to use chemical carrier fluids which damage your printer and use excessive alcohol carrier fluids.  Generally, these inks are not filtered correctly and can causes physical blockages to your print heads, which can lead to overheating and permanent print head damage.

Important Note: The HP 02 cartridge series brand printer is a very advanced piece of machinery and it is extremely important to always use Nano brand inks in your CISS unit. The use of other inks and CISS may cause the internal sensor to identify the use of aftermarket inks. This will cause the printer to lock out the cartridges so they can never be re-used.
